Designer flair added to the workplace

Just as we have seen the creation of designer clothing, eye glasses and home furniture, we are now seeing a proliferation of beautiful and functional designer office furniture. While in the past designer office furniture referred only to special limited edition products by fifties modern designers such as Charles Eames, today the term has come to refer to the office desks and chairs created by all of our favorite general design houses such as Chanel or Calvin Klein.

This is not to say that those famous designers are personally sketching the chair or desk that bears their name. Rather they are allowing their general styles to be incorporated into these pieces of furniture so that fans of their designs can share a bit of that in their office environment. Consider this to be more like hanging pictures of people you admire on your office walls. Also consider that products made and emblazoned with these designer labels are almost always built to a very high standard so that you are assured of buying a quality piece of office furniture.
